Welcome to the Campana Lab

As a NIH training Fellow, I became interested in regenerative cell responses, particularly in Schwann cells (SC), which are essential for functional peripheral nerve repair. With mentoring from Drs. John O’Brien and Robert Myers, I developed a strong interest in how ligand and receptor systems regulate neuroinflammation, regeneration and neuropathic pain.
